Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At Barrel House Guns and Ammo, all sales are conducted in strict compliance with federal, state, and local firearms laws. Due to the regulated nature of firearms, ammunition, and certain accessories, the following refund policy applies.

Firearms

  • All firearm sales are FINAL once transferred.
  • After a firearm transfer is completed (ATF Form 4473), no refunds, returns, or exchanges are permitted.
  • This applies to firearms purchased in-store or shipped to another Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).

Background Check Denials

  • If a purchaser is denied during the background check, the firearm purchase price may be refunded minus any non-refundable fees, which may include:
    • Shipping costs
    • Credit card or payment processing fees
    • Transfer fees
    • Restocking fees (if applicable)

Firearms Shipped to Another FFL

  • Orders cannot be canceled once a firearm has shipped.
  • If a firearm is returned by the receiving FFL, it must be:
    • Unfired
    • In original condition
    • Returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation
  • Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee and all shipping costs are non-refundable.

Ammunition

  • All ammunition sales are FINAL.
  • No returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted on ammunition once sold or shipped.

Accessories & Non-Regulated Items

  • Non-regulated items (such as accessories) may be eligible for return within 14 days of purchase.
  • Returned items must be:
    • Unused
    • In original packaging
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective or shipped in error.
  • Certain items (including magazines, optics, and clearance items) may be non-returnable.

Defective or Damaged Items

  • If you receive an item that is defective or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • In some cases, manufacturer warranties apply and the item may need to be handled directly through the manufacturer.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders canceled before shipping may be eligible for a refund minus applicable processing fees.
  • Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Refund processing times vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

Legal Compliance

Barrel House Guns and Ammo reserves the right to refuse any return or refund request that does not comply with applicable laws or this policy.
